The English Department is Moving!

After a long history on the 4th floor of Hibbard Humanities Hall, the English department offices are moving to the brand new education building – Centennial Hall. The new building has been a work a in progress and is scheduled to be completed and ready for classes beginning the Spring 2014 semester. The English department will live on the 4th floor of Centennial Hall.

Many other departments will be involved in the move as well. The College of Education and Human Sciences offices will also be housed in Centennial Hall. The classrooms will hold classes for the departments of English along with special education, foreign languages, and education students.

The building has been developed by the same contractors of the Davies Student Center. Centennial Hall is approximately 182,000 square feet. The new English department will be completed by an updated Kate Gill Library.
