NACLO comes to UWEC!

During the semester, four UWEC Language Studies and English-Linguistics students have been hosting monthly training sessions for middle-school and high-school students interested in competing in the North American Computational Linguistics Olympiad (NACLO). NACLO is a computational linguistics competition, held annually, in which students solve linguistic puzzles while learning about language and enhancing their logic skills. This year UWEC not only provided training sessions for interested students, but will also serve as a competition site second semester.

The final training session offered at UWEC will be held on Tuesday, December 9 from 6 to 7 pm in Centennial 3814, and the open round is tentatively scheduled for January 29, 2014. All are welcome at the free training session without registration.
